Leong Chuan's father was Kay Tuan Chia and his mother was Chia Kay Tuan Wife of. He had a brother named Leong Kiat. He died in 1889.General Notes
Little is known about him except that he came to Singapore from China in 1850's

Leong Chuan and 1st Wife were married. They had four sons and a daughter, named Hood Theam, Hood Sang, Hood Cheng, Hood Teck and Watt Neo.

Mrs Yeo Keng Chuan nee Madam Chia Watt Neo, 91 years passed away peacefully at her residence 743 Paya Lebar Road at 6:40 a.m. on 27th instant leaving behind 11 sons, Yeo Sian Twee, Boo Liat, Hock Ann, Hock Thye, Hock Beng, 10 daughters-in-law; 6 daughters, Mrs Koh Chong Keng, Oh Chin Kian, Tay Song Chuan, Seet Tiong Geok, Yap Beng Wan and Koh Teck Guan; 51 grand-children and 24 great grand children. Funeral on 31/5/1953 @ 10:00 a.m.."
Watt Neo "Dopey" Chia
Watt Neo was born on January 1st, 1862. She died at the age of 91 on May 27th, 1953.
